For some reason I have always been drawn to the heart symbol. For me, the shape gives an uplifting feeling, and most likely because it represents love, hope, peace and life. In art, hearts are usually a whimsical representation and when found in nature, it’s magical. I don’t know why, but I get a little spark of energy when I come across hearts and symbols of love when travelling and in everyday life.
This collection of love messages from around the world is a collaborative effort made possible with photo contributions from my travel blogger colleagues. Some images are rare formations in nature, others are representations of love portrayed in art. The beauty of the heart is… there is no language or cultural barrier – it’s universal.
We hope this collection inspires you to see the many signs of love, hope, life and peace which surround us wherever we may be.
Wherever you go, go with all your heart.

Love Sign Delivered
“I was on my backpacking trip in Southeast Asia, at that time I was in Ko Phi Phi, Thailand and I was talking to my boyfriend over a phone. And I felt soooo in love and suddenly the water brought this to my feet – a heart leaf full of sand. It was one of the SIGNS you know.”

Garden Love Surprise
“I love to walk around my garden in East Hawaii every morning to see what’s in bloom and I usually find a lot of my tropical anthuriums coming out to greet me. It’s always wonderful to find little surprises like this at the start of our morning don’t you think?”

Marriage Proposal
“The Dutch street artist Jan in Utrecht proposed to his girlfriend Afra on this mural 2 years ago. They had been together for 7 years and have a 3 year old son, so Jan thought it was about time to propose. He made this mural and talked Afra into coming with him to see it… and she said YES immediately!”
